The State of Ageing 2022 looks at data from a wide range of sources such as the English Housing Survey, the GP Patient survey, the Health Survey for England and the Community Life Survey, as well as a host of official statistics like the Office for National Statistics (ONS).Ultimately it shows that the experience of being older in England is getting considerably worse for many. The data demonstrates the huge challenges facing the government’s levelling up ambitions to reduce inequalities across England as well as its stated commitment to increase healthy life expectancy by five years.

This report takes an in-depth look at how adaptations are funded and delivered in the housing sector. It examines how funding arrangements might be improved and when adaptations aren't the right solution, how the moving process might be improved.

This report presents the results of a survey exploring isolation and loneliness amongst a group of housing residents since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. A follow up to some 2021 research it sought to find out what coping mechanisms have been developed and whether things has improved since the previous report in 2021. The results will help introduce interventions to improve resident wellbeing.
