This welcome event was delivered to introduce successful Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) projects to the Healthy Ageing Challenge Community of Practice. We were also joined by Roland Singer-Kingsmith, Healthy Ageing Impact Lead at UnLtd.
Social enterprises play an important part in addressing inequalities in health longevity, yet recent research has highlighted the difficulties they face in raising funds to grow and deliver social impact. To address this, the UKRI Healthy Ageing Challenge has committed up to £3 million, through the Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI), to support social enterprises that have an ambition to expand their products and services to help people age well.
This online welcome event was an introduction to the Community of Practice: what to expect and the benefits of joining a growing learning network. Our thanks go to Roland Singer-Kingsmith, Healthy Ageing Impact Lead at UnLtd, for presenting and discussing Social Impact Measurement.
Recordings of both presentations are available to watch back.
